A. Answer: It would be better for you to use our European Removal service rather than paying for a man and van to go all the way to Marbella and back. With the European Removal service, you will only pay for the amount (cubic meters) of effects you need moving one way to Marbella. Q. Is it possible to be charged by invoice as we are looking for a van but a company is paying for it
A. Answer: If you request an invoice we will send one to you. If they donít have a company credit or debit card you can call the depot and we can making the booking for you over the phone, we can then send you an invoice, although this will need to be paid seven days before the service is due to start. A. Answer: I am sorry you have not told me from which depot the starting point would be. Just looking at the web site calculator 1 man with a panel van for 3 hrs would cost you £102.00 + vat. A. Answer: I am sorry I can't give you the estimated number of hours as I don't have all of the information available to do this. A though if you are looking to load normal household furniture and effects 2 men should be able to load a couple hundred cuft in an hour, with a normal access to the goods, it is normally a bit quicker to unload and then of course you have to allow for any driving time depot to depot. A. Answer: I have worked out the cubic volume of the list of furniture and effects you have mentioned to be moved as 475cuft. As I have not seen the actual items and I have had to guess the number of boxes you are going to pack from the cupboards this is my best guess to the volume, but saying that it should be there or there abouts. Q. Hi, I am looking to move from Penzance to Plymouth at the end of the month.We don't have any large furniture items or large appliances. How many hours would you recommend? We will already have our stuff packed and ready to go so the van will just need to be loaded and taken to Plymouth. Do we pay from the time he gets to us to the time we have finished unloading in Plymouth? Thanks
A. Answer: Hi Sarah thank you for your question. The charges are based from depot to depot so you need to take into account the total travelling time together with the time it will take to load and deliver. Travelling time Truro depot to Penzance 35mins. Penzance to Plymouth 1hr 30mins. Plymouth to Truro depot 1hr 15min, which gives a total of 3hrs 20mins, (approx) depending on where in Plymouth and traffic. I don't know the quantity you need to move and how many people there will be to help load and unload, if you felt that this could completed in 1hr 40min then 5 hours will be sufficient. A. Answer: We do have a minimum charge of 2 hours can one man do the job? You also need to factor in the time to travel to the collection address and the time to travel back to the depot after delivery. A. Answer: There is an option to insure you goods in transit when making an online booking. The cost of the insurance is £2.41 per £1000.00 insured with a minimum premium of £10.00. We do carry sack trucks when requested which can be used by 1 man. A. The cost for 3 hrs against two hours will depend on what you are booking i.e a panel van or luton van with one man or two. Did you see that you can mover the sliders and the cost will change accordingly. I have checked this for you and the extra changes for an additional hour for a panel van with one man would be £25.50. Please make sure that you allow enough time to complete the round trip back to the original depot. A. Answer: Thank you for your question. With out knowing the quantity of effects you have to move and the distance to travel it is difficult for us to answer your question. If you book 3 hrs and use 4 the extra hour can be paid for at the end of the move. You asked about the size of the van the difference between the panel van and the luton is about 5.6cum and the luton has a taillift which is ideal for larger and heavier items the difference in the cost is £17 but if it save you two trips it will be well worth having this van. Q. Martin and his men helped us move out of our two-bedroom flat this January, and into a new one a copule of blocks away. I was very happy with the service I received; Martin showed up on time, was very professional, and did a perfect job two hours later, it was all over!I especially liked that he encourages customers and their friends to help out His rates are extremely reasonable, too. My only (very minor) criticism is that I would have appreciated slightly more contact in the run-up to the move however, I was very early with my planning, and he was very busy over the holidays. A. .Answer: Our Man and Van service is based on a depot to depot time bases. For instance if you looking for a collection in Taunton you may need to allow 15 to 20 minutes travelling time from the Bridgwater depot. If the effects were being delivered to an address in Bridgwater you would need to allow 5 to 10 minutes travelling back to the depot at the end of the job. Regards plumbed items like washing machines as long as there is a red or blue handle to turn off the water supply we can do this as well. We can not disconnect/connect items to the electric mains supply. We can disconnect/connect gas cookers as long as they have a bayonet fitting. Sorry there was not a short answer to your question although we try to be as helpful as possible.
